Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all cancellation and refund requests for services offered by SatyaRishi AI (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through our website satyarishi.ai (“Website”) and our mobile application (“App”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to this Policy together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.


1. Nature of Wallet & Closed-Loop In-App Credits

To ensure complete transparency, this section clarifies the legal and functional nature of the SatyaRishi AI Wallet:

A. Prepaid In-App Credits (Not Monetary Value)

The balance displayed in your Wallet—whether shown as numbers, credits, or with a currency-like symbol for ease of understanding — is strictly a **prepaid in-app credits ** that grants you access to in-app digital services (per min charged astrology consultations, reports, and other related features).
It is not:

  • Cash or legal tender
  • A bank account
  • A deposit
  • A payment instrument regulated under any financial or banking laws

B. Closed-Loop System (Internal Use Only)

The Wallet operates exclusively as a Closed-Loop Prepaid System, meaning:

  • No Withdrawals: Credits cannot be withdrawn to a bank account, UPI ID, payment wallet, or any external instrument.
  • No Transfers: Credits cannot be transferred to other users or converted into cash.
  • No External Use: Credits hold value only within the SatyaRishi AI Platform and cannot be used for payments outside the App.

C. Finality of Top-Ups

Converting real money into In-app Wallet credits is final and irreversible.
Once funds are credited as In-app balance, they are considered consumed for the purpose of purchasing the credit to access SatyaRishi AI’s digital services.
Unused credits are not refundable to your original payment method unless required by applicable law.


2. Refund Eligibility & Methods of Refund

Refunds are granted only in specific, verifiable circumstances. All requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the relevant transaction.

A. Service Failure Refunds (Returned to Wallet Only)

If a service purchased with Wallet credits fails due to a confirmed platform-related issue (e.g., unsuccessful report generation, inability to access a purchased digital product), the refund will be issued solely as Wallet credits.
Cash refunds or reversals to the original payment method are not provided for services redeemed using Wallet credits.

B. Payment Gateway Failure Refunds (Returned to Original Source)

If payment is deducted by your bank or payment provider but is not reflected in your Wallet due to a technical failure, the refund will be processed directly by payment provider to the original payment source (bank account, card, or UPI).
This is the only scenario under which monetary refunds are issued.


3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • Change of Mind: Requests to convert Wallet credits back to cash or reverse unused credits.
  • Dissatisfaction with Results: Preferences or disagreements regarding interpretations, predictions, or outcomes generated by the AI.
  • User Errors: Incorrect information submitted by the user (e.g., wrong birth details).
  • Partial Usage: Services partially or fully consumed.
  • Promotional Credits: Use of complimentary, bonus, or promotional credits.
  • User-Side Issues: Device malfunctions, poor connectivity, or other issues not caused by our systems.

All refund decisions are final and made at the sole discretion of the Company.


4. Refund Processing Timelines

  • Wallet Refunds:
    For verified service failures, in-app credits are restored to your Wallet immediately upon approval.

  • Refunds to Original Payment Source:
    For gateway-related failures, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 6–8 business days.
    Note: Processing times depend on your bank or payment provider.


5. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, please:

  1. Email us at [email protected] within 24 hours of the issue.
  2. Include the following details:
    • Registered email address
    • Transaction ID / Order ID
    • Description of the issue
    • Relevant screenshots or proof of payment
  3. Our team will review your request, verify logs, and respond within 2 business days.

6. Force Majeure

Refunds may not be provided during circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Internet or server outages
  • Payment gateway downtime
  • Natural disasters
  • Regulatory or governmental actions
  • External technical failures

7. Dispute Resolution

All disputes arising under this Policy shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
